Good job Alex, how many JGP spots are there to get?

Russia has 15 spots next season. So, atleast 8 skaters will have atleast one JGP event, assuming Russian fed doesn't messed it up like this season.

I really hope Mitrofanova can get some spots and progress. I absolutely loved watching her skate

Girl in green.
Pretty, slim girl, but I memorized her as not quite standing out in anything: nice jumps, nice spins, nice skating and programs, but not great. Plus she could not stand on her feet this season - domestically and including one 6th place in JGP. The other one was silver medal though.
I've always liked her, but she has had her two chances and didn't exactly shine - having this mass of young upcoming talents I just think other should be given a chance too.

I think these girls should get their JGP spots for sure:

1. Tsurskaya - Russian missile
2. Fedichkina - Russian kitty
3. Konstantinova - Russian late-bloomer (at 15 :laugh2:)
4. Gubanova - Russian national treasure on her tough way through puberty to Olympic gold in 2022
5. Tarusina - thin, energetic girl with fine spins, mostly close-to-perfect through the whole season, fighter!
6. Lozko - new Russian spin queen + uber pretty :drama:
7. Nugumanova - Radionova 2.0, super performer, loves what she's doing, cutest and funniest little thing ever with some technical problems.

I'm not sold on the eligible rest:
Mukhortova - Russian darling, I-spin lyrical princess, people cry and give standing ovations in Russian arenas, but I personally don't see much of future potential with her Miyahara-like jumps,
Kurakova - I adore her 90s look, smile and energy, but not sure if she is up there talent-wise,
Mikhailova - neat skater, pretty girl, but as far as I remember she can't stay on her feet much in stretch of full season and for some time now,
Zagitova - cutie pie from Eteri's group, always with the beautiful outifts, elegant and adorable, but can't stay on her feet AT ALL,
Samodurova - watched her several times, never striked me with anything special in her skating, probably should take closer look, because of those respectable results lately.
Don't know Panenkova and Gulyakova.

I don't even think she qualified to be on the team. Or did she? I can't remember.

Don't know Panenkova.

This was Zagitovas first season with Eteri. I have High hopes for her next season.

Samodurova skates like Miyahara. Small jump but very fast.

Panenkova has finally somewhat stabilized in her last two competitions this season. I don't think the judges cared much that she has so many rippon's due to the scores she received. She still has one more competition coming up on Apr 21st.

Zagitova is not stable. Moreover, she doesn't feel the music and program. She skates with a straight face, just fulfilling that the choreographer has conceived.

Not long ago I saw a video with Victoria Vasileva. I liked her program. Music, choreography. The speed, smoothness. But she does not have a stable 3-3. Only 2-3 with axel. Nevertheless she looks much better than many of the girls mentioned above.

But still, my angel - this is Nastya Gubanova. Amazing figure, feeling the music, the complexity of jumps. And hopefully, finally she regained stability. Time will tell... :(

Vasilyeva was born 25 Nov 2003, she is not eligible to JGP-2016.

I wrote only about girls who are eligible.

Vasilyeva lands 3Lz+3T in SP, and she has enough time to make her FS more complicated.
Remember, Lipnitskaia at her first Junior season won all with 3T+3T in SP and 2A+3T+2T, 2A+3T in FS.

Moscow open competitions 19-22 Apr 2016 Date updated!

Announce http://ffkm.ru/images/files/015-16/2016-04-19_Prizy_Presidenta/Polozhenie_Prizy_Presidenta_2016.pdf

Formerly it was Moscow level competition, at October, competed 1st and 2nd grade (level like novice), at season 2014-2015 it was at April, Junior Men and Ladies.
This time - all-Russian level, Senior and Junior.
All-Russian level means that 1st and 2nd places in Seniors will pretend to Master of Sports title. Maybe we will see 12 years old girls (like Vasilyeva) pretending to this high title.
Interesting moment at Announce - as Junior may compete skaters of age 10+ and sports grade lower than candidate to master of sports, as Senior - age 12+ and sports grade not higher than andidate to master of sports.
It means that main goal of competition is for 1-3 places in Junior to earn grade "candidate to master of sports", 1-2 places in Senior - title "master of sports".

Hey, Alex. I saw a few photos of the girl from team Tutberidze (as example https://www.instagram.com/p/BEJly9oKLsq/ ) Did they skate somewhere? Any information?

Nice skate. :gclap:
Yep, I just caught myself thinking "nice" watching another young Russian skater AGAIN. ;)
They all have triples, their skating have some nice features, you would always want to give them a chance. BUT THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY OF THEM! :hopelessness:
I'm saying in general: most of them deserve just one international start - they worked harder, are more dedicated and just better than most of European girls, who are representing their countries on JGP or lower tier tournaments. Take this girl Yakovleva - she's just average amongst her Russian peers, but with her "poor" 158 points she would have medalled in almost every single one of those junior "B" competitions...

Timetable (time Moscow)

20 Apr
10:00-11:00 - JrLadies SP
11:00-11:20 - JrMen SP
11:35-12:45 - SrLadies SP
13:00-13:45 - SrMen SP

21 Apr
10:00-11:15 - JrLadies FS
11:15-11:40 - JrMen FS
12:00-13:30 - SrLadies FS
13:45-14:45 - SrMen FS

Timetable looks not real. 11 Junior Ladies (2 warm-ups) for one hour - impossible, 4 Junior Men in 20 minutes - too.

Not so interesting skaters in Juniors.

In Seniors - Viktoria Vasilyeva, Darya Panenkova, Anastasia Gulyakova, Anna Scherbakova in Ladies, Ilya Skirda and George Kunitsa in Men.
13 or even 12 (in Ladies) years old strong Senior competitors.

That's where I get confused - none of these girls has MC (Master of Sports) degree and they start in MC category...? :scratch3:
