A very cocky claim you made there... unless you are yourself an international judge with years of training, experience and practice at the top levels of judging?
Do you understand what I said? If the tech specialists do not give the correct calls then why are they're there? If they don't even do it well then put some dolls there it's the same. And please even you can do that.

No, I think it is you who did not understand what I said. And I do not claim to be able to do whatever you claimed I can do.

Don't get me wrong, there are many a time where judging or tech calls have me raising an eyebrow. But no matter how many raised eyebrows I have, or how high up my forehead my eyebrows go, I do not delude myself that I can do their job better then they.

Because I am an armchair critic, not a judge.

Though, if I do go through the years of training that international judges do, then maybe I might come back to this forum to make that claim.

tjaaaa, maybe she is from another planet ? I remind you that Honda got about 174 in Asian Open and 184 in GP Yokohama. Not so impressive as for "virtually untouchable by other girls"
Free skate is the most important and points-heavy determinant of the outcome in singles. Marin scored WR 128.71 with serious mistake, Polina 114.71. 14 points difference is another level in figure skating.
Marin is clearly the best junior skater atm. Widać to gołym okiem. :)

Naay, the total score is what is important. Here so far Alina beat them both.

You don't understand at all. :rolleye: It's just a way to express the frustration that those who score and give calls do not work properly.

"Hey, you're his mother, why don't you teach her how to be polite? Being such a mother I can do better than you!!"

Have you ever heard of such phrase?

I guess some people have lost the imagination. Seriously do they get the sarcasm? :palmf:

There was nothing wrong with the judging in Saransk and Yokohama. It's just delusions and bitterness take over the forum. :rolleye:

And the fear. Fear of Marin Honda. I can smell it almost everywhere.

I do enjoy to read what you post most of the times. But I started to sense very similar notes to what another member wrote about Gracie Gold some time ago.

With the poor streaming here and the poor streaming on IN I am totally frustrated. I just read the protocols and I cannot believe that NUGU won the freeskate. They are not doing her any favors if they are telling her "We don't see the UR because you are just so beautiful." She has serious technique issues and if she doesn't address them now they will only get worse as she grows.

Based on what everyone did today I still think Polina should be in first, followed by the other Russian girl and in third it should be Yuna.

I hate when they think we are stupid.

One single axel is not a serious mistake to score a 128 but, it can be do or die if you are up against all the top skaters at the JGP final or Worlds. These girls are all cut-throat and slightest hair out place can be the difference between first place and sixth place.

When I read in protocol they gave her 1UR in fs, I burst out laughing. It's rather sad though, because girl is still learning and should not be misled.

What's up with Yuna's dress? It is pretty on its own but I don't know the reason behind the ribbons, that pretty much prevent her from doing Rippon jumps. If the concept of the program is a girl bring restricted by her beauty, or in a cage??? Or she portrays a fairy? It reminded me of this http://www.atlantachinesedance.org/images/2004/fairy.jpg

She seems to be dealing with a heavier body now and she is just 14. Unless she gains Wakaba's explosive jumping power, she will likely to have more troubles in jumps.

I liked Shiraiwa last year, but it's clear she's grown a lot, so some of her power and jumping ability is MIA as she adjusts. She seemed slow today, and did not present her program well. SHe also only had two combinations which hurts her score.

It's clear Tsurskaya is not back 100%, which is to be expected after being out so long plus a growth spurt. Still, she's improved her movement on the ice and skating skills while still having her jumps. She adjusted well after her errors and still hit a clean 3Lz+3T in both programs. I'm not worried about her - I think she'll be fine as long as she stays healthy.

I think Nugu is adorable and great to watch but yeah, the toe jumps are questionable. I do think the 3Lo+3Lo and 2A+3T were rotated; at least they looked like in real time. I get why she won the LP - she was clean and presented everything very well. Her spins are really top notch.

Konstantinova is a hot mess and not my cup of tea at all, but her first fall wasn't particularly costly, as it was not on a element, and she still hit a number of triple jumps despite the errors, plus all level 4 spins.

I don't have any real issue with the judging. Too bad the skating (and the stream!) were not good today.

It's clear that Polina has not skated her LP enough. Didn't she mention the LP was only created in July after her team was sure she can return this season? And she was not even supposed to be on JGP a few weeks ago? As long as she does not injure herself again, she will be fine. I am afraid, with her height, any injury would be twice as serious as for a smaller skater.

Why don't you see Yuna's many URs? Stop being one-sided and turning a blind eye to Yuna's URs.

It's disgusting to see how Yuna S and Alisa were treated like "sacrificial victims" by their own feds, and like garbage by the judges, only to play a stupid rivalry game between federations:bang:

Yuna was injured and probably needed the time to recover, hence did not get an earlier assignment -- I doubt that JSF's intentions were that nefarious.

probably the same with Alisa, clearly Polina is not fully back in form and neither is she, though at the time of the assignments she was probably more "back" than Polina was.
