Dmitri is out, replaced by Anton Shulepov. :(

Did Daniel Samohin WD? Or is his shoulder better?

He is still on the entries list.

The ISU link is showing Artur Dmietriev Jr. (with Andrei Lazukin and Alexander Petrov as the three Russian entries. Anton Shulepov is still listed as a substitute.

Also Daniel Samohin isn't listed anymore; only Alexei Bychenko is listed.

Is the ISU link accurate? (It has today's date and 4:18 p.m. - although I don't know what time zone that time corresponds to.)

Franz STREUBEL is off the list.

For some reason, I'm thinking he retired because of injuries about a month ago, but then when I saw him mentioned here I wasn't sure. Perhaps he entered some time ago? Can anyone confirm is Franz Streubel retired?

yes, he has retired according to German Skating Association
https://www.eislauf-union.de/media1...on-teilnehmen-und-beendet-die-aktive-laufbahn

Using google translate, the news item reads as Due to a lengthy injury to the ankle, which still causes pain during training, it has become impossible for Franz Streubel to contest the scheduled international qualifying competitions. As a result, Franz can not realize his big goal of participating in the Winter Olympics. With great disappointment he has now decided to end his sporting career. Franz Streubel has twice won the German championship title and was sent by DEU to both European Championships and World Championships. With great regret, DEU has accepted the decision of Franz Streubel. The DEU thus loses an internationally experienced athlete in the Olympic season, who unfortunately could only rarely retrieve his actual performance due to injury. We wish Franz all the best for the future.

I just want to wish Alexander Johnson the very best of luck at this event. With Nathan, Adam, and Jason getting to the GPF, I sometimes feel like Alexander doesn't get the attention he deserves. He's having a great season and a win here will give him the momentum he needs going into Nationals..

I think this might have been brought up earlier this year, but i noticed Is Frank Carroll still Denis Ten's Coach. Some one else sat with him during the Sp of Golden Spin of Zagreb?

It could have been a member of Denis's Country Federation Though. I am just curious because it rare that Frank doesn't travel with skaters especially during the Olympic Season.

just wondering, does anyone know.
