Japan's gonna have just one spot next year.. dark times in their jr men field is coming ..

After Yuzuru and Shoma, is there any upcoming Japanese male skater that can take their mantle once they retire? Maybe Sota once he recovers?

Damn, one spot. It doesn't feel right with Japan having two top male skaters. EDIT: Oh, I remember Sota, where he is now? Is he injured? :scratch2:

It takes 4 years from Kozuka to Hanyu and 5 years from Hanyu to Uno winning JWC. So I don't think it is that bad. They can't expect to produce top men every single year, I guess. With the quad era now, they do need their juniors to do them.

Very much Joubert-like routine. :)

I wish Graham can jump like Joubert though.

Where is Yamamoto Sota when Japan needs him so much? Has he been battling injuries or something?

Yeah, I don't know either, after withdrawing from last year's Worlds, I haven't heard anything about him :(

Only Sota if he recovers. Other than that field is quite empty.

Nope. Japan will keep their current spots.

Good job Kazuki and Koshiro!

Ankle fracture. He sat out this entire season, actually. Not sure how his condition is now, it has been dead silent about him :slink:

Yes assuming that others will pass both of them them (not a given yet) they will finish 16th and 12th at worst, which would put them right at 28.

ETA: And Graham is behind Shimada, so now it's 15th and 12th.

He will grow into it!

He should be in a warrior type of outfit or something, with this music, the effect is disorienting. This is not easy to skate to, overall i enjoyed that. Baby pow wow!!

Good job Newberry from Blighty!:)
