I'm actually happy that Sergei is in first place considering how much he has to fight to be considered in Russia, despite the others are far from being great skaters and often worse than him.

I like his programs: once again Misha Ge proved that he has a great future as choreographer.

A big round of applause for Tolstoj! It totally boggles my mind how Sergei is being ignored. Not just by the Fed, but because of their attitude towards him other people (experts, judges, spectators) often seem to follow suit.
If he had been propped up a bit more, he would still be considered as a contender for Russian No 1. Well, he is to me anyway. Good on yer, Sergei!

does anyone know why Dima withdraw? i was looking forward to him... i guess we'll see him in CoR next month then

I think he's got an inflammation of his ankle. Nothing serious anyway. He'll recover quickly.
