looking at Javi's lead i would think 3-peat is secured but then again Yuzu also had a similar lead last year over Javi and look what happened. nobody is safe, everyone is prone to errors... Gawsh this men's event will be the death of me!!!

Beautiful 3A! And wonderfully smooth 3F+3T and 3Lz. Just +GOEs everywhere please! That's pretty much the best that Jason can do with this technical content today. One of the best lyricists and interpretive skaters in the world.

I expect around the mid 90s.

All the complaints about these kids and their quads ruining figure skating, and Javi and Patrick win the day.

(Shoma too....but performance-wise we know Patrick and Javi are better).

Shoma is more artist than quad-kid, imho. His SP is weaker than his LP so I wouldn't say he is so much weaker than Chan and Fernandez. Maybe a bit, but not THAT much.

KOLYADA is too low.

and freaking yuck Kovtun with a fall got almost the same PCS when Kovtun should have WAY lower PCS than Kolyada even with a clean skate. Joke. Also he might have beaten a clean Kolyada without his fall, again total joke. Overall great event though, some of the bizarre PCS judging outside the top 3 (and even there Uno was blatantly underscored in PCS) aside.

The USFSA made the right decision. They sent the right two men.

Oh if only Jason had quads. That was one beautiful 3A.

This whole Men's SP Event was one of the best I've ever seen. Just one big wow after another after another.

KOLYADA is too low.

Kolyada is fine where he is. He got personal best PCS and score, and he did one quad... and his overall skating isn't nearly the quality of the top 5 guys.
