Finally there are some news about other Japanese skaters, just quick notes:

http://www.sankei.com/sports/news/180123/spo1801230032-n1.html
On Mai Mihara - Mai had run-through of FS today, she seems to be doing fine and was also doing well with the SP run-through from yesterday.

On Keiji Tanaka - Keijing is also doing fine with 4S and 4T. He's working on fine tuning of his program

Another report on Mai and Mura: Mura says he's trying to maintain his motivation in skating, as he's still the 1st alternate to Olympics.

Also caught this from weibo about D. Ten:

The Chinese part says he's recovering well and he felt good with the practices today.

I hope he uses it here. He's got nothing to lose and he should skate a program that he really loves. I feel the same way about Mariah Bell. I wish she had kept her EOE LP, I loved it.

maybe it's a form of having a nice, comfortable departure into new season, with skating his last season's FS that gave him a lot of love and great results? Like skating this program for one last (or two last, if he'll go to Worlds) competition(s) on a high note? Anyway, for me it's always a pleasure to see Jason in competition, because he excels at performing in front of people, with any program, the exchange of energy is palpable for me, even from TV only perspective. On a selfish note, I would LOVE to see him live in Milan at Worlds and have a chance to congratulate him for being such a great athlete and ambassador for this sport:)

It says I can't see it. :(

Have fun at the competition! I hope everyone skates clean for you -- especially Jason!

Thanks...on, no, I didn't realize that the local sports channel also blocks interviews, I thought it's just for live broadcasting of the event that has been blocked. Sorry about that!
