I do think that Alena could play spoiler in this field where nerves could have a role...She still has the quality that is rewarded now more if being clean.

- 3F+2Lo, but 3-turn between both jumps and a messy exit (-2)
- Fair layback spin, not a lot of speed (+1)
- Solid 2A with good flow-out (+2)
- Good landing on the flying spin, a bit of a travel though (+1)
- Strong 3Lz (+2)
- Fairly aggressive on some of the edges, a bit stuck in places but good series of steps (+2)
- Stronger combo spin to finish, a little off the beat, only Level 2 (+2)

The program doesn't have a lot of flavor. Not a fan of the standing on two feet at the beginning of the program, but otherwise a fair program for her despite the mistake on the loop combo.

Edit: 3F might be considered <.

Not bad by Courtny. Doubled the loop in the combo, but great steps. Jumps look borderline/UR on replays, but they gave her full rotations!

Gotta love Alena and her characters chosen for programs, she was magnificent in 'Pirates of Caribbean' in season when she won silver at worlds
