It's the first time ever that a Dutch Pair is taking part in a WC. I'm pretty excited about that, whatever the eventual outcome (I obviously hope they make the top 16, although that might be a tad too optimistic). And there are so many great pairs to watch. I'm going to have to do a lot of thinking for the prediction game, that's for sure!

I'm so super excited for Worlds, it's unreal! Pairs are of course the event I'm most looking forward to! Apart from my beloved Team Russia, there are lots of others I can't wait to see, like all the Mozer affiliates, as well as Ziegler/Kiefer, Walsh/Michaud, DellaMonica/Guarise, and Evgeny Krasnopolsky, who I hope will never retire! :D Most of all, I wanna see what shape the Chinese pairs are in and I'm glad for Daniil Parkman that he found a new partner to represent Georgia.
Ooh, it's gonna be nerve-wreckingly beautiful! :cheer:

S/H, please give us the best "blues" and the best "rain, in your black eyes"! We all wish to see two perfect and clean programs. Wish everything going well! Please stand the SBS 3S!

Ditto. 100% :hap10: And :drama: I cannot wait!

I'm especially looking forward to Mishina/Galliamov, Cain-Gribble/Leduc, Ziegler/Kiefer, Miura/Kihara, Walsh/Michaud, Tarasova/Morozov, Moore-Towers/Marinaro, Ghilardi/Ambrosini, Sui/Han and Peng/Jin.

There are so many unknowns and variables :jump:

All the three Russian pairs I've seen several times alive and all the other their competitions by livestream.

As for me the order is:
1. Anastasia MISHINA / Aleksandr GALLIAMOV (they progressed a lot)
2. Aleksandra BOIKOVA / Dmitrii KOZLOVSKII (very nice ad strong young pair)
3. Evgenia TARASOVA / Vladimir MOROZOV
After them (seen by video)
4. Alexa KNIERIM / Brandon FRAZIER (really stronger that Alexa-Chris and Haven-Brandon)
5. Cheng PENG / Yang JIN CHN
And unknown is the level of Wenjing SUI / Cong HAN CHN, they did not compete this season.

All others are as for me not so strong as top 5 mentioned above.

According to their ISU bio, B/K will unveil a new SP in Stockholm :hap10:
Music is from OST from Howl's Moving Castle, one of Miyazaki's brilliant animes. The tune, "Merry Go-round of Life" has the base rythm of waltz, with several changes of moods - I am quite excited about this and can't wait to see this :jump:
Such a lovely piece of music! Hope they do a great short program to it (y)

Why are there no video clips of pairs practice? 😭 I see a lot of pictures, but no videos.

Wonder if that's just a practice dress.

I’m still convinced that Peng & Jin should have had the bronze at the last Worlds, and would be delighted to see them avenge that result by medalling here.
Yes, I agree. They were definitely the third best pair at that event. But, it is going to be hard to get a medal this year. I wish them the best!

Not only ISU Bio, their coach Moskvina also told so - that new music is more lyrical and it is better.
