Semenenko WD - reassigned to the later stages
Muravieva WD - reassigned to the fourth stage
Usacheva WD - reassigned to the later stages

Sviridenko got a chance to qualify for Nats with such field.

It's a pity that there're only three pairs. Someone would increase their chances to qualify for Nats by performing there.

Deep field in ID for the first time. We will see the debut of Kravchenko/Shustitskiy. Sad for Mironova/Ustenko, they could medal at last two stages, and the chances there are very low. Although I'm very curious to see how they will be scored comparing to Pasecnik/Nekrasov. Even more sad for the kids from Kirov. They could qualify for the final with their bronze, but not with such second stage, they will be sixth there at best. :(

Im sad I was exited to see Daria I guess she still hasn't restored everything as she seems to be training full time, but considering the absolute ridicule skaters are getting when they compete without their full arsenal of jumps, im kinda happy she wont show up without all her jumps present only to get mocked for it online. She might get reassigned to the last 2 stages and I think that will happen with Maia as well as she just started jumping few days ago. This could make the 5th and 6th stages the most competitive stages of CoR.

I hope Sofia M is ok, apparently she has an injury? but is competing a week later in Moscow anyway?

For the Women, it should be Valieva, Sinitsyna and Gushchina on top, with Morozova and Sviridenko in touch.

I wonder how Paramonova will do, her last season was a disaster, but she was great two years ago.
And maybe Nesterova can be a dark horse.

Ooof, the junior men's field is stacked here. Dikidzhi, Ugozhaev, and Polyanskiy, who could (should?) have all been bumped up to seniors to make the senior men's series a bit less predictable, plus Fedor Zonov as well as potential high scorer Grigory Fedorov with his quad lutz. I liked him a lot last year, it's a pity that both of his programs are (imo) so spectacularly bad this season.
Gotta keep my fingers crossed for Timofey Stolyarenko, a spot at junior nationals is on the line.

I'm so glad I can watch Pairs in real time! Quite a number of my favourites there, like Omelchenko/Astakhov, Dybkova/Khvalko and Klimov Team Merenkova/Galimov, who did well in Sochi.
Talking of which, tomorrow I'll miss the family affair mother and son Klimov back-to-back at the boards with their respective charges. :love2: I'm travelling again and will be away all w/e.
Rumak/Goncharov today is another highlight for me! :hap10:
