Results on day-by-day basis

As far as I know, the Korean national championship is where the national team for next season will be selected and the members of the World Championships and Junior World Championships will also be selected.

Korea has 3 spots in women’s event for WC, 1 spot for men. Korea also has 3 spots for women, 1 spot for men, 2 spots for ice dance in JWC.
This event will be the first time in 5 years where pairs will be competing. Korea has a new pairs team, Hyejin Cho and Steven Adcock and they will make their first appearance in the Korean nationals.

Hannah/Ye and Jinny/Namu will both be eligible to compete at the JWC because they fulfilled the minimum score requirement. However, even if Hannah/Ye win the medal at the JWC, Korea has to give up 1 or 2 spots for ice dance because of the lack of competitors in ice dance for team Korea. Members of 4CC were already selected via Ranking Competition so the nationals will select members of JWC and WC.

The Korean nationals will take place from January 5th to 8th.

No further details on the junior and senior categories were announced and the official schedule was not posted.

I waa going to make a thread when the competitiors were announced, but thank you for doing it for me! Just one tiny thing: the national team is decided by combining the results of Nats and the ranking competition :)

There will be a gala performed by the medalists after the medal ceremony, and KBS will broadcast the competition. Presumably they're only going to broadcast the seniors (and that could be partial as well), will update on the specifics and how you can watch when there's news.

KSU will update their blog with all the performances, but since the blog is all in Korean you might need a machine translator to navigate it. If a machine translator doesn't work on it PM me.
I am hoping someone on social media at least puts out scores in English....Thanks for the link! Would of course love to see the skates...I am hoping that some day some feds will figure out how to make a few bucks putting their nats on Youtube. I assume they will be broadcast on Korean TV...

I'm going to be posting scores on this thread if you need the scores, but @skatingkor on twitter is going to be faster. And as I posted above Nats are going to be broadcasted via KBS, I'll make a separate post on how to watch when there's news.

Update on the KBS broadcast: they're only going to show the last two groups of senior women (for both SP and FS). Presumably they're going to show some of the men's performances during the ice resurfacing (for instance, my darling's skates) but don't take my word on it. Will update further if they decide they're going to stream the rest of the competition on their homepage only or something.

Here are the links for the streams (KBS has two channels and they're using KBS 2 for the SP and KBS 1 for the FS), you're going to need a Korean VPN though.

KBS 2 (SP, KST 13:15-16:45) : https://onair.kbs.co.kr/index.html?sname=onair&stype=live&ch_code=12&ch_type=globalList
KBS 1 (FS, KST 15:10-16:40): https://onair.kbs.co.kr/index.html?sname=onair&stype=live&ch_code=11&ch_type=globalList

Proton Plus for $10 a month for one month does offer South Korea, I think. I am going to guess these channels are live only and not on demand? No matter, the time change for Pacific standard time is very doable. One day behind and 8-9 pm at night starting, (y)

Perhaps you could post a test show on one of these channels we could try ...say on the Second (third Korea time) around noon? Dont want to get my hopes up.

Oh, the links I posted aren't specific for Nats, they're the livestream links for the channels themselves. You can just click them (with a Korean VPN on) to test them out.
