The skaters are first ranked in order by their ISU World Standings.
Then the lowest half of the group is assigned to the earlier session.
The top-ranked skaters will skate in the last two flights of the later session, and the remaining skaters draw for skating order in the earlier flights of the later session.
If there are withdrawals, the skating order may be affected. When Julia Sebestyen withdrew, that allowed Elene Gedevanishvili to move into the top-ranked group.
There is no "official" place to find these groups.
It's ISU Rule No. 579 Draw for Competitors (ISU Championships -- Special Technical Rules) -- published online on p. 119ff at: http://www.isu.org/vsite/vfile/page/fileurl/0,11040,4844-191592-208815-140518-0-file,00.pdfHow do you know this?
A fan who posts at FSU is diligently keeping track on a personal web site at: https://sites.google.com/site/figureskatingnotes/HomeWhere can I find these lists? Are they updated as soon as someone WDs?
The site says:
Fedor ANDREEV is entered for AZE. His status is TBC (to be confirmed). No changes to the draw groups because Andreev is ISU unranked.
Is this out of the blue? Did I miss something?
