I know you're joking, but I just don't get the deal behind cosplaying. Regular clothes for me.

Where's the fun of not cosplaying when you are in the cosplay thread ;)? I will put out a second choice then and there's no (choose one) in the thread title this time . I do appreciate Scott Moir's Dark Eyes costume. He looks good doing those in-place steps in it :): https://youtu.be/q3yWgpdn3Es?t=119 (Tessa gorgeous as always)

My first choice would have been Alina's DQ red tutu --- but I'm afraid I don't have the legs to carry if off.

Therefore I will go with Ilya Kulik's giraffe shirt from the 1998 Olympics.

It's a hobby, like any other, and people do get enormous pleasure out of it (I recall once following a website where fans of LOTR discussed their costumes, and it was mind-boggling the love, work and expense that went into some of the gowns)

I thought of another one, probably more me than Yuzu's fantastic-but-only-him glories... Nelli Zhiganshina, from her Taken from the Grave with Alexander Gazsi. I adore everything about this, and definitely that dress...

There are some really fun answers in this thread! I'm thinking I'll go "old school" and pick Peggy Fleming's iconic 1968 Olympics dress: https://goo.gl/images/fmVYus

Love the chartreuse color, and the fact that her mom made it is really cool. I'd have to rock a good 60s-style hairstyle - an updo of some kind? of course.

The new one from Fantasy on Ice, Haru yo koi, which is based on the theme of spring and as I understand pretty much going to his new exhibition piece... one of his totally 'Only Yuzuru Can Get Away With It' costumes, looks soooo wonderful in motion.

Lol, it's awesome. Ok, now I"m not sure what I would stand out in more, the Rhapsody In Giraffe Yellow or in the Cherry Blossom. Decisions decisions!

Edit: It seems that Rhapsody in Giraffe Yellow has already been claimed, I just didn't notice. Well then, I'm taking the opposite turn and going as the Cherry Blossom.

I'll take this... thing that Takahito wore. Go big or go home.

:laugh2::shocked: OMG...this is actually the most hilarious costume I've ever seen...like seriously, what was he thinking??!

To answer the question I'd go as Plushy in his Asissai costume, which I was looking up the other day for reasons and it's truly the greatest costume of all time. Plus it turns back into a suit!

(That music sure is freaky though...)

They say the greatest art is that which even if you don't understand, even if you cannot articulate your feelings, it elicits a deeply emotional reaction nevertheless. I feel that this is what he was aiming for with this costume.

That, or its an homage to feather dusters. A long underrated member of the cleaning products family!
