boyang, doesn't go to TCC... but since he has all the paperworks for Canada, he decides to go to Gadbois and picks up dance for a year... he truly sucks at it... but it improves his skating skill to finally get good PCS in singles. He wins 2022 olympics and a new tradition starts... Gadbois becomes a center for single skaters in deep need of edges and transition... so much that they need to hire Patrick Chan to help out...Patrick leaves BC... moves in permanently to Montreal.... I find out where he skates everyday and go watch him on a regular basis... ;)

Actually, Boyang was recently kidnapped by galactic humanoid space aliens. This drama is just a front to distract the public from the missing skater while the fed, Lori and Orser are frantically walking up and down the streets of their respective home towns in search of him.
However, I have good inside knowledge that he is being kept on a steadfast diet of noodles so needless to say.... He's not in a hurry to come back.

His Olympic FS has clearly earned him intergalactic recognition.

Min pairs up with Bilodeau.... they create a new discipline which combines pairs and dance... in that event there are no jumps nor throws but SBS spins, twizzles, Pairs lifts no twist, dance lifts, death spirals, pairs spins and dreaded step sequences both in pattern dance and free... Gadbois and St-Leonard team up.

They face stiff competition from Seguin and Gamelin.... and Peng and Jin. The latter winning the first worlds in Montreal, ahead of the two other teams (representing Canada).

The IOC doesn't want to include it for Beijing though and the Chinese team organize a big manifestation and finally, 2 months before the games, to the general surprise : the event is included, not only as a discipline but in the team event.

Russians complain because they had not taken it seriously as it wasn't an Olympic discipline and they have not had Nationals in that discipline.... However, Plushenko accepts to do it with Adelina.

Against all odds, Lubov convinces Dylan that they could perhaps win if they didn't have to jump.... and get old programs fixed just in time....to be ready.

Lubov and Dylan win gold, double gold as Canada wins the team event again, just edging Russia who despite being dominant suffer from Plushy and Adelina's lack of chemistry on ice.

(I apologize in advance... i am trying to be creative in these crazy predictions.... this summer has been too much for us gentle souls we call figure skating fans....

Nathan Chen finds it too difficult to balance schoolwork and competitive skating at once but realizes there's an innovative way to combine both. He chooses a never-before-done piece of free skating music: the audio of a Khan Academy video about photosynthesis. Choreographed by Lori Nichol, Nathan earns straight 10's for Interpretation as he helps audiences understand the steps of both the light-dependent and -independent steps of this fascinating biological mechanism in a intuitive way. The highlights of the FS are a three-jump combination set perfectly to an explanation about how the electrons from H2O move along the thylakoid membrane through Photosystem II and I to form NADPH, and a final camel spin representing the ATP synthase pumping out H+ against the proton gradient (represented by hand movements) to power the formation of ATP from ADP.

The video goes viral as it's shared among desperate pre-med students cramming for midterms across the world, and soon the ISU realizes the best way to get young people to watch this sport instead of Big Air is to create "hip" videos to help them study. For 2022, a new PCS category, "Academic Value", is introduced. To adjust to this new shift, skaters swap out ballet and pilates for textbooks. TCC changes its name to "Toronto Cram Class". Politicking is done in the form of SAT scores and average GPA.

The artistic landscape of the sport completely changes. Large amounts of singles skaters pantomime to demonstrate abstract mathematical concepts like limits. A Russian couple decides to reenact the Kennedy assassination, with one person as Lee Harvey Oswald and another as JFK, igniting much debate and controversy. Ice dancers are evaluated by how precise the benzene rings they draw on the ice are, and a different organic chemistry mechanism becomes the required step sequence each season, starting with Diels-Alder. Everyone ends with a physics demonstration by doing an upright spin with their arms spread apart and then bringing them in.

The long-time fans complain, but at least Jason Brown brings "Hamilton" back for the Olympics.

Pluto is decided to become a planet again but gets a different name to cover all the years of uncertainty. ”Hanyu“ is now an official planet.

The other Olympic gold medalists are furious that only one of them gets a planet named after them so the ISU decides to start a foundation dedicated to name stars after OGMedalists.

Medvedeva is furious that only gold medalists get stars named after them, so she decides to train even harder to win in Beijing. She manages to jump lutz with a deep outside edge, jumps 4Lo and 4S but gets beaten by Trusova who falls on every other quad and 3A she attempts but jumps 4Lz-4Lo in both SP and FS. Medvedeva is outraged that she again loses because of a Lz-Lo combo.

She starts the foundation for “Champions without OGM“. Kwan, Slutskaya, Kostner, Fernandez, Asada and Orser immediately join in. They start tours together that become so popular that the ISU decides to name GP competitions after them. They are held in:
Russia: Cup of Slutskaya and Cup of Medvedeva
Italy: Cup of Kostner
Canada: Cup of Orser
USA: Cup of Kwan
Spain: Cup of Fernandez
Japan: Cup of Asada

This is sortve less crazyish (not the music, that’s crazy) I guess..?

P/C are NOT undefeated all season, but win MOST of the big competitions like last season. They only win the SD at a select few competitions because their Tango SD to Roxanne is so overshadowed by V/M. After they lose GPF to G/P they decide to change their SD to the pop song Havana with an added Tango rhythm and win worlds with it. ISU is so annoyed that they decide to abolish the planned rhythm dance and go back to the SD with a mandatory music check to make sure it genuinely fits the theme. This gets called the P/C Rule.

Crazy predictions:

Gracie gold becomes world champion with no Russian or Japanese ladies on podium

Chock/Bates beat Hubbell/Donahue, Papadakis/Cizeron, Weaver/Poje and become world champs

Kolyada becomes world champ

Tarasova/Morozov do NOT medal at worlds and the North Koreans win worlds over Sui/Han

NONE of this will happen, just fun to do (these aren’t what I wish to happen, just something that seems very out there except for Kolyada winning to be honest😂)

:laugh2::rofl: this is fantastic! but jokes aside there definitely should be a Cup of Asada  not the one she organized earlier this year for kids but a serious one! She did so much for Japan & international figure skating even without bringing the Oly gold

My crazy prediction is Medo tanks next season & the season after that, losing even to Tursynbaeva who whips a 4S & 4T out of nowhere ending up world champion next year! everybody thinks Medo is over, calls her a flop & blames Orser. but she's quietly working on all her shortcomings and out of nowhere lands 4lz with the deepest outside egde ever seen, 4lo and 4flip and wins in Beijing with a 300+ score against Trusova & Scherbakova who by then would have lost their quads to the puberty monster!
I went as crazy as i could :rofl2:

*World Challenge Cup becomes a real event, taken seriously. It gives skaters more chances to compete and is mostly filled with the skaters who didn’t make their country’s cut for Worlds. However, everyone underestimates the skaters, saying this’ll be a boring competition. But later on people realize it’s fun to see their favorites once more after nationals.
*The US ladies are a massive disappointment but Alexia Paganini becomes a star, landing her quad, making the US federation wish they hadn’t let her go.
*Leona Hendrickx makes the GPF.
Deniss Vasiljevs looks inside himself and finds a quad and Med-sistency.

It's not that crazy, you know? :scratch3:

Yuzu, seeing other skaters working on 4A, decides to skip 4A and go for 5A. He performs it at Worlds, but unfortunately judges don't even notice it as he rotates too fast. In consequence he gets points only for 3A what is not enough for gold. Official complaint is made but the results are fixed only after a medal ceremony. To avoid such scandals in the future, ISU maintains a special list of judges percipient enough to judge the events Yuzu takes part in.

I’m not sure about the North Korean’s winning Worlds, but Tarasova/Morozov could go home after Worlds without a medal around their necks.

^^ Yes, I think Tarasova/Morozov showing up with two tasteful, well-choreographed & costumed programs is a much crazier prediction for those two (and their entire coaching team :palmf:).

Two recent events have lead to a new freaky prediction:
1) Olympic Channel is flooding social media with Yuzu-related content. A short excerpt from their latest article: :drama:
Look out for a quintuple jump, and for a dramatic tilt at three-golds-in-a-row at Beijing 2022.
2) The current off-season has reset the standards for crazy predictions.

So here we go:
Next off-season the Olympic Channel arranges a special coop project with Yuzu, ISU and NASA called 'Notte Stellata'.
Challenge: how many in-air-rotations is a human body capable of depending on the given gravitation force? In early autumn 2018 ISU and NASA send experts to build ice rinks on the moon, Mars and their own space station while Yuzu has to do some special astronaut training besides his regular practice for competitions. Ghislain Briand joins him on the stellar trip.
In May 2019 Olympic Channel is doing over 40 hours live-coverage from 'Planet Hanyu' on their YouTube-Channel, until they announce solemnly that Yuzu has completed 7 full rotations on the moon, 5.5 on Mars and can't stop rotating on the space station without foreign help.

#Sidenote: Ambesi and Dolfini add full of excitement that Yuzu has entered the 'Mars-Axel' from a back counter and finished with a spread eagle. "Benvenuti sul Pianeta Hanyu. Abitanti uno: solo lui."
