Between the off-season limbo and complaints about the lack of a non-biased skating podcast, I wanted to share with you Russian figure skating podcast “Ice Room”. I’ve posted some of the episodes in some fan fests, but it may reach a wider audience here. Ice Room is produced by competitive skater Andrei Lazukin and figure skating coach Murad Kurbanov. Naturally, it is in Russian but usually the auto translated subtitles appear within days and I found it easy enough to follow with the subs.

Episodes are around one hour long and are basically a recorded chat between friends, so the atmosphere is very relaxed and some topics are discussed which skaters might not usually be comfortable talking about with journalists.

The podcast has its own youtube channel and Instagram page.

Here are the episodes posted so far (episodes 1,2,4 are audio only, others have video as well).
