1. Who is your favorite qualifier in each discipline?
Men: Boyang Jin, for the shear excitement of his jumps.
Ladies: My favorite ladies change all the time, so for right now, I'm excited to see what Gracie will do
Pairs: Seguin/Bilodeau
Dance: Shibs

2. Which discipline do you think has the best lineup?
Probably men. Whoever lands the most jumps will win, I think..

3. Who do you think will win any/all disciplines?
Men: Hanyu.
Ladies: Gracie...? Maybe. Or Evgenia. Or Elena, or Mao...

4. Which finalist do you think has the best programs?
The Shibutanis

5. Which discipline do you think will be the most competitive/best-quality?
Maybe ladies? I think we may see performances similar to Rostelecom Cup.

6. Which do you think will be the most unpredictable?
Usually it's the men, but I think it will be the ladies this time.

7. Which first-year-senior qualifier are you most excited to see?
Seguin/Bilodeau

8. Which comebacking qualifier are you most excited to see?
Mao, but to be honest I'm more excited by the newbies than the comebacks.

9. Who gets your best-dressed vote in each discipline?
This is pretty tough, actually...I'll say Yuzuru because I love that he loves sequins and he usually doesn't get voted as best dressed! No idea about the other disciplines. Most of them seem to have nice costumes.

10. If you are going to Barcelona to watch in person, who/what are you most excited to watch?
Well, IF I was there I'd be excited to see how Duhamel/Radford are in person.

11. Will any of you be staying up all night to catch the action? (I certainly won't be...luckily it's at pretty good times. )
No, but I will be getting up a bit earlier than usual to catch some of the events. Others happen while I'm at work.

12. If you had a one-time-only GPF Genie who could make anything happen with the placements, what would your three wishes be?
For the Shibutanis to be on the podium and ahead of Chock/Bates. I want Chock/Bates to do well, I just want Maia and Alex to do a little bit better. ;)

1. Who is your favorite qualifier in each discipline?

Hard to pick, lots of favorites.

2. Which discipline do you think has the best lineup?

The men and the quadapalooza for sure. So much drama - can Yuzu replicate NHK? Can Patrick land a clean 3A and not headcase during his skates? Will Boyang hit all 5 of his quads? Where does Javi, the current WC, fit in? And the other two Japanese men (Shoma and Dice), can they medal?

3. Who do you think will win any/all disciplines?

Yuzu will be hard to beat in Mens. I think D/R have Pairs sewn up. Weaver/Poje will most likely win dance. Ladies - my money's on Medvedeva but if Gracie skates 2 clean programs she could win.

4. Which finalist do you think has the best programs?

Shibs FD, Yuzu FS, Elena's FS (b/c she sells it), Ashley's SP

5. Which discipline do you think will be the most competitive/best-quality?

I'm thinking Men's and Ice Dance

6. Which do you think will be the most unpredictable?

Ladies

7. Which first-year-senior qualifier are you most excited to see?

Shoma

8. Which comebacking qualifier are you most excited to see?

Mao and Patrick (tie)

9. Who gets your best-dressed vote in each discipline?

I like Ashley's SP dress and Shibs FD, D/R FS and Javi SP

10. If you are going to Barcelona to watch in person, who/what are you most excited to watch?

Not going but hope to see most these at Worlds in 4 months!

11. Will any of you be staying up all night to catch the action? (I certainly won't be...luckily it's at pretty good times. )

No, most of the skating will be in the afternoon, not sure if I can catch it all live but will be catching up this weekend on Youtube.

12. If you had a one-time-only GPF Genie who could make anything happen with the placements, what would your three wishes be?

1) Ashley gets on the podium for the 4th time
2) The Shibs place ahead of C/B
3) Gracie gets Gold

1. Favourite qualifier - Jin boyang, Evgenia Medvedeva, Yu Xiaoyu/Yang Jin, Chock/Bates

2. Best lineup - ladies!!! Newbies, Oldies, any of them could take the title. The hardest discipline to predict for me

3. Win all - Hanyu, Evgenia, Radford/Duhamel, Weaver/Poje

4. Best programs - Hanyu - LP, Chock/Bates - SD

5. Most competitive - Men's - all these men can land their quads cleanly and Jin, his 4luzt, out of this world!!!

6. Most unpredictable - ladies!! None of them could put their hand up and say, "I am 60 points away from the pack"!!

7. 1st senior qualifier - Jin Boyang!!! Easiest question to answer!!

8. Comeback qualifier - Patrick Chan, yes, Oh Patrick!!

9. Best dressded vote - Men - Shoma Uno, his costumes just so suits the programs and him as well, Ladies - Gracie Gold, love her not so 'princess' dresses this year, Pairs - Yu/Jin, the gentle colours very suited to the programs and them, Dance - Chock/Bates, their SD costumes are so classy!!

10. If I were in Barcelona - Hanyu, Jin, Patrick, Chock/Bates, Yu/Jin

11. No, won't be staying up all night

12. My 3 wishes from genie - First - Boyang gets to medal and the other men not put up in the components score in order to put Jin down; Second - Yu/Jin get to medal, hopefully Kavaguchi/Smirnov gets put under them cos' Yu has the best posture & carriage of all the pairs ladies; Third - Chock/Bates wins Ice Dance GP final and then worlds - yeah!!!!

Now the fun part!

You don't have to answer all of these-I know it's a lot, so feel free to pick which ones you like the best. Also, you can additionally answer any relevant questions for the JGPF if you like. May the insane GPF-hype begin! :dance2:

2. Men
3. Yuzu, Mao, no idea, D/R
4. Yuzu and Shibs
5. Men and Dance, others are missing lots of strong skaters

You don't have to answer all of these-I know it's a lot, so feel free to pick which ones you like the best. Also, you can additionally answer any relevant questions for the JGPF if you like. May the insane GPF-hype begin! :dance2:

I answer for ladies only.
This time no clear favourite. I like them all and most excited to see Gracie and Evgenia. I loved Elena some years ago but I did not like her last years programs but her programs are better this year. Somehow I am afraid Mao might not jump well and that's why I am unsure of seeing her but good luck to her, too. Satoko is not my favourite but she usually have nerves when others don't. Ashley has been one of my favourites but I don't like her SP and I feel it is time for Gracie to shine. It will be unpredictable as any of them could medal and it won't be an easy competition. So it will be very interesting to see. I am sad Elizaveta is not there. Perfect time for me to watch in Finland.
