Signor Matteo hasn't regained his 4T yet, but nonetheless he is a delight to watch.

I am a big fan of Matteo's and he skated ok. Better than at his last competition. The quad is getting close again.

both my babies delivered and Daniel was clean with an amazing 4lZ and now i'm emotional

This programme is so fitting for Daniel. I really, really like it. And the only guy with a good quad. And a lutz at that.

With that big of a margin I think Signor Daniel will win the thing unless a disaster happens in the free, now back to Russia

A nice hour of men's skating with the level going up along the event. The start wasn't so good but the last two skaters were just great, even with Matteo not yet having the quad totally back. But Daniel was sublime. Really, really good.

Pairs coming up. I'm longing to see Nicole and Matteo, as well as Rebecca and Filippo.

Triple twist was a bit sloppy at the exit, but the rest of the elements looked good. I loved their commitment to the music (and her sliding split between his legs) in the step sequence and their synchronization during the sbs spins.

It was difficult to tell from the camera angle what went wrong, but at least they got out of it safely!

I really liked their transitions out of their jumps, a really nice touch and it went well with the music. I look forward to seeing how they improve in the future.
