OK, sometimes this works and sometimes it doesnt work but I will be going. If anyone wants to have a bite to eat or a concourse get together, or stop off an just say high, thats fine.
I will be in sec 101, row one. I will be the only 6 ft 2 in male with a mustache and a baseball cap and glasses in the row. I look like a tall Teddy Roosevelt.

I plan to be there as long as I can find good accommodations in which to leave my dog. I'm in Section 104, Row 2, and should be wearing a gold baseball cap that says Golden Skate on it. Happy to say hi to anyone from the forum.

Looking forward to seeing you . Bring dog along. I will get a State Patrol drug interdiction dog vest from one of my trooper friends. On the other hand, that might make the coaches nervous! I will just wear my old State Patrol coveralls with the patches and no one will bother us...I will just flash my retirement badge and we will get in free!

That is one of my favorites too—10 years ago in Sofia at Junior Worlds. Of course it brought a couple of tears to my eyes to see my dear late wife but I am glad to have the memories. I wish all the best to Mirai and Charlene in the future. Looking forward to seeing some Golden Skaters in Everett.

It certainly looks that way from this thread. I am hoping that Mrs. P might be able to show up to explain the Ice Dance to me.

figurefan0726 I look forward to meeting you. Look for me with a gray beard, a gold colored ball cap, and possibly a yellow plush jacket in Section 104, Row 2.

I just received my tickets in the mail yesterday so I assume everyone should be getting them soon. I also noted in the Skate Canada thread that Mrs. P is going there instead of to Skate America so I will have to figure out Ice Dance on my own. I envy her in getting to see Piper and Paul and hope she has a great time there.

Sorry Paul. :/

Turns out that weekend is JAM packed with events and other things, so it oddly worked out that I'm doing SC instead of SA. I'm excited to see Piper and Paul too!

Thanks for letting me know you got your tickets...I am still sweating out mine. I am supposed to call if I dont get them by the 11th. I wouldnt trust my post office with a burned out match, personally. There is another forum member who is kind of shy who I would expect to show up but she is entitled to her privacy and I wont give her up but hope she shows.

I’m sitting in Section 119 rows 13 (for mens) and row 14 (ladies). Had to get the tickets last minute with my friends. Let me ask: are those good seats?

Its just a matter of personal choice, actually. Many events are poorly attended and I have left my front row seat and tried differnet parts of the arena and different rows. For me, I like to be in the corners, close to the door where the skaters leave the ice or Kiss and cry and in the first few rows. Some like to be higher, especially for ice dance. I bet you will be able to move around so you should try to get lower and see how you like it. If someone comes and finds you in their seat, just quickly and politely move. I like getting candid pics, too. http://tinypic.com/r/350l9xe/9
