You guys have seen photos and jump reports so I’ll add something I think has not been mentioned yet.
Kazuki fell while landing a jump and ended lying down on the ice laughing. The Korean fans next to me, who up to this point were more focused on taking photos of the Korean skaters, were muttering “귀여워” (cute) and proceed to take some photos. My phone battery was dying at that point so I couldn’t get a photo. Hopefully those girls will share it some time!

Glad to know his axels look fine, though. In my experience, when he starts struggling with the axels, then you know he's super nervous.

Ouch! Poor Yuzuru.

From the reports that I'm seeing it seems that Kazuki did land another 4lo, and after just three attempts!
He's really getting the hang of it, absolutely incredible considering the 4lo is the hardest quad to land :eeking: I mean, not even Yuzuru is doing 4lo this time...

Ahh that... I think I have it recorded. Yuzuru fell and Kazuki popped his right after

I was going back and forth doing my best to record both of them, I was thinking it was good they were skating to the same side of the rink, but then they both messed up their jumps

I see now what Ichatdelune mean about him being fine without the third quad. Apart from the fall, all his other jumps were gorgeous!
I also noticed he didn't only try to include an extra quad in the second half, but a quad combo! He intended to do 4S2T, hence the extra -2T on the lutz
