Congrats to Nam on the win, 3rd one of the season if you count Minto and GTSA! Good to see that he has his 4S consistent. Looks like he ran out of steam at the end, I'm not sure why he chose to put the loop right at the very end. Just some kinks to work out but having seen it live at GTSA, Nam can really sell LLL when the jumps are well executed.

Yes, congratulations to Nam on a great start to the season! I really like both of his programs, and I feel like his basic skating has improved. I hope that he continues to have a great season! I'm really interested to see how the Canadian men will stack up against each other this year, in Patrick's absence.

keep in mind Nam already is not a power skater... so in altitude... he was dead... so kudos to him!!!!

i am sure that he will keep doing better and better.... i will let you know how he looks like at skate canada

As a spectator at SCI, I thought Nam's SP was totally Nam-azing , and I stood up and cheered for him at least a dozen seconds before he finished skating. I'm not sure if you can hear it during the livestream, but there was some booing when his score appeared---those of us at the arena believed it was too low.

I met him in the morning, and he kindly allowed me to have his autograph and a selfie. I think we both look cute in the photo! (Okay, he's a lot cuter than I am, but I'm not too shabby in the snapshot. )

I feel so lucky to have been present at a major competition where Nam delivered two great performances that received standing ovations! Let's hope that this positive energy continues for the rest of the season. :yes:
