Yes. :yes: That's really what makes figure skating so much more than just a sport. And it's why I watch.

P.S. in your previous post you used the word "regal" about Aleksandra: I think you nailed it as it perfectly describes her posture and walk (and why I described her presence as "commanding")

I'd never paid much attention to her skates with Ivan till this year. And then especially at Russian nationals, I saw and felt something notable. She communicated with me via video screen. It was her presence.
