mashed potatoes (as I don't know what cornbread dressing is)
roast potatoes
sweet potato fries or onion rings?
ha ha! It's Southern cooking version of bread stuffing to go with roast turkey, chicken, etc. Made with half cornbread, and so much better, LOL, cause my Grandma made it
Sweet potato fries
crispy little fried onions on a fast-food sandwich or jalapenos on a f-f SW?

Wow, thanks for that! Sounds good to me. When I hear cornbread, I have to think about The Green Mile, when giant John asks Tom Hanks for his last meal, requesting the ‘cornbread that your missus made’. It’s one of my all-time favourite movies.

Just so. Cornbread is a beloved staple throughout the South. It's generally more moist and tasty than what you get up north. Its popularity comes from the fact that corn was the grain of choice for southeastern Indian tribes.
jalapenos (I like some spice)!
sun dried tomatoes or roasted peppers?
Sun-dried tomatoes
