My great-grandfather Alexander Sergeevich Suslakov served on the Karelian front, in the east. He was a member of the highest officers, was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree. Major. Died in 2000

My great-uncle Sinitsin Semyon Borisovich. He was a machine gunner, was listed as missing for 30 years. But the search party determined that he died in Velikiye Luki in February 1944. At that time he was about 20 years old.

Another my great-uncle Tereshkov Mikhail Afanasyevich. He left to fight at the age of 17, was an artilleryman. Missing. It is still unknown when and where he died.

Two out of three did not have time to see life, to know the happiness of their family. Didn't see the world at its best.
