Oh, I would love to go to this! I'm right across the water in Busan, Korea and it's an easy ferry ride to Fukuoka.

Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to get tickets from overseas??

Western sectionals DO sale tickets (but not Eastern sectionals). The sale has already started on Sept 26th. Tickets can be purchased from the following sites (in Japan):
http://http://eplus.jp/sys/T1U89P0101P006001P0050001P002238310P0030001P0006
http://http://ticket.pia.jp/pia/ticketInformation.do?eventCd=1744944&rlsCd=001&lotRlsCd=

To purchase tickets from overseas, I'd probably check with JSF directly.

The jr. ladies is still underway, with two more skaters to go. But Rika Kihira just skated, with the following content:

22.紀平梨花
3A3T 3A 3F(Tano) 3Lz2T(Tano) 2Lo (pop) 3Lz(Tano)-2T2Lo 3S
FS 131.92/Total 195.20

Both 3A were landed. Nice job!!

I have somewhat mixed feelings about this...might be just that I don't know the circumstances she's been in in terms of injuries and other condition related stuff but I wish she displayed this jump content at the two JGPs, because I'm afraid it's starting to look like Rika skates well with her 3As only in local and smaller/less prestigious international comps where she may feel far less pressure on herself. Midori's '92 and Mao's '10 & '14 Olympics still leave bitter tastes in me and I just hope Rika will not go down under pressure like her great predecessors when it matters.

I've updated the result page (in English, with protocol) in post #1. I will come back to add the list of skaters advancing to Japan National/ Jr. National

NB:
*Yes, Rika's both 3As were ractified
** So far the participants to Jr. National have been set. But the compete list to All Japan National will have to be on hold until Jr. National finishes (as top-placing juniors will be invited to National)
