I noticed that crash and was worried about Andrew the whole time
This rink is smaller? Mai crashed with the boards in their 3-3 too.

No, it's olympic size (60x30). So I don't know...

Near 39 for composants to P/C ... the top of season ... ouawwww
I think they're little bit overscored but good for them Gabi really impressed me with her interpretation of music.
Their lifts seem easier than V/M for sure.
I guess the coach of the Polish team Sylwia Nowak-Trębacka really helps them with that, I've heard that she's a technical specialist too so she knows it inside-out. If only they (especially Natalia) had better skating skills Sometimes it looks like they're skating in molasses.3 teams ONLY have level4 rumba : P/C, Alla&Pavel and the Polish team...
Judges will take down anyone who doesn't have that clean pattern as they should. But really, some teams like C/B ad WeaPo should get it right by now...
But it's still a very hard pattern.
OMG that SD was amazing!
I think the difference between V/M and P/C is P/C has a lot more speed, and everything is done so easily.
You mention the lift is easier, but if you look at it more closely Gabby only has one foot on Guillaume's spread eagle and the other leg is freely hanging, which for both of them must be quite difficult to balance.
I feel like Virtue and Moir has more theatricality in their performance but I think their twizzles have gotten much more slow over the years, and I think they move slower on the ice in general.
I really really enjoyed that SD, can't wait for the showdown at GPF!!!!
P/C :
(...)
Pst3, which is a bit of a surprised, but I think the tech panel saw things we can't always asses with camera work. They actually got the max GOEs on this element, but not surprising they often get high GOEs on steps even if it's level3.
Once again, excellent analysis on point!
At NHK, everyone could see Tessa's mistake during the DiSt justifying a level3... but no one will be able to find any mistake from Gabriella or Guillaume on the PSt justifying a level3 instead of level4...
Maybe someone explain why they got leve3, but I think judges decided not to give them all of it It would br 83 then.
matcha for the info. Get well soon Kaitlyn and Andrew. Thank you for your lovely dance when experiencing adversity :luv17:
Are you running for Ice Dance office?I approve of this Ed Sheeran SD.
Both of them are injured. Kaitlyn had a displaced rib already before this competition, and they almost withdrew because of that, whereas Andrew's injury (seriously bruised knee) is a result of him falling and crashing into boards during the warmup.I think it’s Andrew injured, not Kaitlyn. There’s a picture showing him with a physiotherapist or a doctor.
