This makes me excited! :D I wonder if he'll dress up as Willy Wonka?

No, he skated this program at one of the summer competitions and there was nothing about his costume or the choreo that read "Willy Wonka" to me at all, unfortunately. Unless his real costume wasn't ready at the time.

I don't know if this has been discussed in the thread already, but... How many skaters are skating to "I put a spell on you"? There seem to be lots of spells being put on people - it may be my imagination, but it seems to be one at each competition... at the very least.

And I am a broken record on this (ha), but in grand figure skating tradition, everyone is skating to a cover version. AFAIK, none are skating to the original by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. :shrug:I would like to know if someone is!

I also noticed this and I hate it... suffice it to say I do not like the song. Not the original, and not any of the crappy covers that are being skated to. But alas, it seems this season I'll have to suffer through :laugh2:

Well, thank goodness Liza decided not to use that as her SP then.

SD: 'Charms' from the movie 'W.E.'
FD: 'Rain in your black eyes' by Ezio Bosso and 'To build a home' by The Cinematic Orchestra

Thanks to Ka3sha from the FSUniverse. According to her/him, the source is the Pirouette magazine, but she/he found the information on a russian forum.

Edit: Oh, just saw that this was already posted at the P/C's fan thread. I hope that it's still okay that I brought the information here.

It's going to be interesting to see them do the Ravensburger to Charms... I love that music but it doesn't seem to fit very well.

You'll be surprised it is actually a good piece to do that Waltz. It will be less frenetic or frenzied and allows more fluid ... flowing movement.

While I appreciate the creativity this season, several of the teams, including P/C apparently, are skating their RW to music that isn't 3/4 time. While I assume D/L and their specialists know the rules enough to not get a deduction, I feel it must be easier to time your pattern of you have the appropriate beat to time it to.
