In the US we call Whole Foods "Whole Paycheck" for a reason, so be prepared(Then again I shop at another store, Wegmans, which is whole paycheck and a half, so I should talk ).

Does Vegemite taste anything like Marmite? A completely acquired taste if it does

And back on topic, since Boston is a five hour drive, boy do I feel guilty about not making up my mind...

I'm Australian. I doubt I could buy anything in the US for a price that would shock me.

Vegemite is stronger than Marmite, so I am told anyway. Foreigners do have a tendency to glob it on, where it should be spread with delicacy. Anyhow, I love the stuff, can't get enough of it.

Come see us, el henry! Afterwards we can sit together and dissect every moment of Jason's gorgeous free skate. And complain that the sash is still flapping around

I love Marmite even though it has bad connotations for me as it was always the first food I would have, spread on toast, when I had been sick! Still, I adore it. Never had Vegemite, but I must try it.

I have never met an American who doesn't regard Marmite with horror yet!
