Wow! :eeking: Very very strong field and come back of Nastya Mukhortova!!! I still remember her amazing free program at Junior Russian Championship 2016. Also her spins are insane! Very looking forward to see her! :)

Their broadcasts are always bad and not mention quality of videos by itself. Hope Sharovs will be there, cause even his camera is much better than what they are uploading. Ugly grey videos. :disapp:

I think we are fortunate to get any videos from all these very minor local competitions. There are ISU Challenger competitions with no videos at all, or rubbish quality, some that they charge money to see. What a thing to complain about.

Fair enough. But if at ISU Challengers are always different broadcasting then at Russian competition is always one official operator - TheFsRussia at youtube. They're recording stages of Russian Cup and other events. If they were like average fans or photographers like Sharovs - I understand. But when you're working on federation and record all competition at this garbage camera - I don't even know. What's the problem to ask Rostelecom or federation to buy them normal camera just like at Junior Nationals 2016 (Chelyabinsk), JGP or GP?

The peak of all this was at Russian Junior Nationals 2017 when they didn't allow to record videos to others who have much better camera! Instead this they just typical recorded all programs at their own camera and that's it. Moreover, I even can't find videos from Russian Juniors Nationals 2016 with broadcating from Chelyabinsk TV, because there was only one channel with these videos which were banned I don't know why. At least I had time to download before it was deleted.

Well, at this competition I guess no TheFsRussia. Only Видео Студия-38 which upload video very slow. But even they have a better camera.

Just watched two Ksenias. I liked it! Bad second part of programs (mistakes), but overall it's really nice. Especially Ksenia Sinitsyna! Wonderful 2A and beautiful stsq.

Junior Ladies SP.
There were 33 girls of 36 in lists (3 WD before SP).
Planned jumping content of all good girls - 3F+3T (or rarely 3Lo+3T), 3Lz, 2A. Multiple tanos and rippons. Some girls (including 1st to 3rd places) all jumps at second half.

1. Girls were very nervous, maybe because of 1st competition of season. Very many mistakes.

2. Absolutely positive - skating of Alena Kostornaya. Strong and nice, 1st, score 62.69 (very good, at this competitions scores are relatively low). Skated maybe better than Gulyakova at 1st JGP Event. Hope she fully restored after injury. Detailed protocol https://cs14029.userapi.com/c840531/v840531573/14e9/ubkL9LCVgzA.jpg - we see TES 38.49.
Positive - Alena Kanysheva (3rd, 59.86) and Anastasia Kostyuk (4rd, 56.42). Nice programs, but not absolutely clean, especially Kostyuk.

3. Negatives for me were multiple.
Viktoria VASILIEVA (2nd, 60.29) had at least one visible error, while now she needs to skate clean. 3F+3Lo.
Ekaterina Kurakova (9th, 51.38) popped 2nd jump of combo (fall or almost fall), maybe URs too. Skating was not so beautiful as at past season.
Anastasia Mukhortova (23rd, 42.17) has nice skating, extremely good flexiblity and very good spins, but problems with jumps. All as before injury (maybe jmps even worse). Fall after 3F, no combo, maybe URs.
Anna Tarusina (5th, 55.09) - not better than at previous season, worse than herself before injury.
Viktoria Safonova (7th, 53.23) - fall between elements.
Nice tiny girl Evgenia Medvedeva born at 2005 (27th, 37.21) - fall at first element (spin), all after that very bad.
Other nice tiny girl Natalia Khabibullina (13th, 49.15) doubled second jump of combo.
All girls of coach Panova (except Kanysneva and Kostyuk) - serious errors, some of them - multiple serious errors.

Ksenia Pankova (8th, 53.14) - nice skating but URing - the same this time. Now she is at Pluschenko's sports school, so we've seen Plushenko at this competitions.

Just remembered. Again there is no Eva Novakhova. I've heard she was injured in the last season. Then appeared video where she did 3A on the that thing... Don't know how it's called, like safety belt or something. And then again silence. Two Eteri's girls Medvedeva and Khabibulina are there, but Eva is not. Also I don't see Guseva, whom also Eteri's student. Is there any infromation about them?

Sharov isn't filming this competition, unfortunately, he is only taking photos.

Yeah, I noticed it... But hey! It's the first time when I see two channels with videos from one competition! And all these videos are in the good quality! :agree:

Now I'm only sad that Russian Juniors Nationals 2018 will be in Saransk. Where I suppose won't be a broadcasting of this event. (Just like in St. Pete at RJN 2017) and only one TheFSRussia with their garbage camera will record this sensational event with overloaded field of the young talents. What a shame. :disapp: Only hopes for the James Bond, who somehow recorded all videos from 2017 juniors (it was forbidden) and sent it to sabinfire.
