You know, I hope they aren't too discouraged, cause I think they can still improve. The SBS jumps was a problem with their other partnerships, but there is so much to like and appreciate about this pair, I think they need to work it through.

Oh Marissa and Mervin. It started off SO well, and they are so smooth and powerful, and the program had great energy, but those mistakes were tough.

Hit all their elements so far. Tara excited
Slight toe touch on the landing of the throw
Mervin down on the first jump of the combo. Neither try for the second, maybe tack it on later?

Loooooooow on the death spiral. Did she touch the ice? Deduction? I don't know

Crowd was into it. Performance was good

Such a great start from Mervin and Marissa. I didn't expect them to make the team, but at least have a clean skate! They have never skated this program clean this season. I'm bummed for them. They sooo need to get it together. What is the problem?

Oh, they're consistent, they're consistently blowing the SBS jumps. I like them, but they really need to straighten that out or they won't make any kind of progress internationally.

Performing the snookers out of it, but Johnny and Tara are worried about the mistakes.
