Shame about the combo but pretty good overall!

I also liked the Deniss-sit-spin-inspired non-basic spin position in combo spin

Well give Paniot credit for one thing: that music is HUGE and he wasn't overwhelmed by it. Pity about the combo.

ETA: 4th. Wonder if he'd been in the top three if the combo had gone off as planned. Good for him.

you should wait for Julian Yee, his skating is pretty expressive and often a pleasant surprise ;)

amongt the most under rated skaters in pcs... as he proven once again!

Ok, I'm biased because I LOVE that song (I'm a big fan of Cinematic Orchestra's music), but Yee really does have a gift for interpretation and musicality. Of course he won't get the credit for it he deserves because PCS scoring is a joke, but I always enjoy his skating for that reason. Lovely program.

My goal for tomorrow is to figure out how to get the live stream to work on my TV.

Yaroslav and Julian both doing good with some mistakes. Tough competition this when so much is at stake.

You go Julian!

Small mistake but held it together. I really hope he can make it, fingers crossed. 4th! Great!

On a completely shallow note, he has fab shoulders.

There are so many good things about Conor as a skater (that bodyline!), too bad the jumps are not his best friends...

Good skate, but finished waaaaay after the music. So, he'll get a deduction for that.

I'm doing it with a really long HDMI cable.

I have one of those. I just have a Smart TV so sometimes you can stream right from them, like I'm doing with the JGP events. Though, I don't know if it'll work on this one for non-Youtube videos.

The entrance into tTakelum's final spin combo is really interesting. That is one ambitious piece of music to skate to. Up to the step sequence, I was admiring his restraint with using his arms (like Boe, he's very "limby," but unlike Boe he didn't flail those arms around willy nilly until the step sequence).

Yes, he isn't at the level of other skaters, but I admire him for skating to a very ambitious piece of music and not being swallowed up by it.
