I really wish she wouldn't... she could lead easily if she'd just go clean with a double.
After seeing her in person at the Broadmoor open jump thingy, I rally think this is something she wants. She had a fire in her eyes when she was trying it. While I can see your point of view from a practical point of view, if this is something she really wants and is committed to, i can get behind her trying. I don't think she is being pressured to try it, I think it is what she wants.
Yes. I believe she is underscored in PCS and deserves score higher than URed Tyler Pierce (whose spins are better than Ivett's, but UR).Ivett is adorable.
Mirai is always a heartbreaker to me.
I do think she has improved overall since last year- her spins look better, genuinely top notch again, and her performance ability is better. I fear the jumps are never going to be all the way there though.

What was her score?
I caught the stream for her skate but I conveniently missed all the jumps but the 3Lo (which looked fine, although I couldn't see a UR on an iPhone).

I think Mirai looks so much better than she has in several years. She looks to be in very good condition and she doesn't have that defeated/scared look so much. It will be interesting to see the protocols. She did seem happy with the new SB.
57.something
Lo looked possibly UR? Hard to tell on the stream. Combo not UR but pretty much fell trying to tack on double toe. 2A monstrous, spins truly exceptional.
Mirai had a big 3F that almost hit the boards, tried to tack on a 2T which wasn't smart and fell on her knee.
