Uhm, I do actually think that are a deep midnight blue, and that they do blend with the palette. But not sure that they resolve as blue rather than black depending on the lighting and screen colour adjustments.....

It doesn't matter if it's juniorish- it's part of his brand now and it would be a poor business decision to change something that iconic. Besided, I don't think the Japanese see 'cute' things as immature like western culture does.
