The protocols are awfully slow to come up. I wonder whether someone appealed a call?

Never heard of Emmy Ma but I fell in love with her skating instantly. There's something so regal about her movement, expression, and it's impressive that she could make best out of every note from a forgettable rendition. Even her landing posture is exquisite. New skater to follow
Protocols are up.
Rika got lvl 4 on her StSq As I thought her 2T in combination was invalid
I have noticed many young ladies slow down in the second year of junior. Like they could have done well the first junior year then mess the next. Will that happen to Kihira?
Maybe moving up to senior asap will be better. However for the mean time, some of them can not move up so they will have to adapt.
Maybe both... it's such a pity though. I hope to see all these girls land their jumps.I imagine some girls crash at ages 14 and 16 for two reasons:
- They are growing, and we all know how cruel puberty can be.
- There seems to be great pressure for them to have a great debut at both juniors and seniors. After these are done, they may relax or the impact of serious training the previous season create trouble.
Emmy is so lovely A violinist too wow. Multitalented and disciplined young lady. I wish her all the best! Here's a nice interview with Emmy done this past June. It's must reading for Emmy fans.

First of all, except for the Russians, this was awful competition. Secondly, if there was ever more apparent and blatant favouritism, it was ever more so evident here. I think the panel already decided the winner before it even started but Kihira had to spoil it for them. She should have no business being in top 6 or even top 10 with that skate.
