OMG, that Pikachu in his short program costume is ADORABLE! Hooray! Misha, great skate!

And now I must head to bed, but how cool, Brendan's still in second place! You go, Brendan!

Good luck to the skaters yet to come, but a special shout-out to Spiderboyang, Yuzu, Javi and Mikhail! Kick butt and take names! :bed:

This season has the most of unmisha's program, but he desperately tries to raise his PCS so he bowed down to the generic middle of the road let's make it easy for judges type of standard elegant european skating with beautiful european classic music. Where as previous his stuff are more creative, original, adventuous. It will be interesting to see if this pays off.

I am sad he got rid of his Paint It Black program...

And on that note, I need to go pass out now. :bed:

Goodnight, everyone!

Dear Jason, please just skate with all the beauty I know you have...

Did he say he is going to retire already?! It must be hard for him to continue.

Yes, he's been hinting at it for months. He's been injured for quite a while and listening to TAT now, she's been speaking to him in Helsinki, I'd say there's a very good chance, yes. She asked him to hold on until the Olympics but ... not so sure.
I love him but if he's in pain, and he is, then hopefully he skates his best here and can go out with no regrets, if that is indeed his decision. Selfishly, I hope he can heal enough for that one additional season. In any case, it truly has been a pleasure to watch him.

Kevin still at the top. Wow. Dream come true! :)
Starting to get really tired, though. And it's only 4 pm here. Competition days are loooooong....

I hope Kolyada really affirms himself the firm #1 Russian here and shows his loss to Kovtun at Europeans was a bit of a fluke. I far prefer the beautiful and original skating of Kolyada to the sloppy and boring skating of Kovtun.
