JSF has announced numbers of skaters advancing to sectionals and All Japan National, as well as seeded skaters and (Sr) skaters with their exempted status:

NB - (*) Yuzuru has been considered a special entry by JSF, as Takahito MURA has retired.
(**) As Yamashita Mako and Kihira Rika have both moved up to Sr. levels, they're NOT considered seed skaters from their Jr. competition results last season (But Kihira Rika obtains her seed status from placing 3rd at National 2017)

It seems that an exception will be made so that (part of ?) the competition of Kinko Regionals will be arranged to broadcast LIVE. The information is from the following link (in Japanese):

Date and time of the broadcasting: 10/08 11:45~15:45 (Japan local time).
And yes, this is due to Daisuke Takahashi's entry to the competition.

Adding: caught the infomation from twitter, so it seems that the broadcasting will cover G4&G5 of ladies' FS, and whole segment of men's FS from Kinki Regionals
