I think there’s a strong chance that 1st and 4th would be enough, though of course that also will depend on how the remaining gold and silver medals are distributed. It does make me wonder if he wins, if he'll have a chance for the JGPF.
He has I believe the highest free program base value of anybody in this competition, so it’s going to ride on those quads being landed.Well, maybe this week Joseph can do a reverse Conrad Orzel? BRB gotta catch up.
Well, he got level 4's on his step sequences and spins. (unlike the other men). Additionally, he did land a fully rotated triple axel. These elements made up a lot of points he lost by popping the flip. Imagine how high his score would have been without that pop?
The FS judging panel may not be favorable for Phan and Torgashev --- the USA and CAN judges are off the panel and it's now 7 Euros + JPN + KOR
Their short program marks aren't being dragged up notably by the North American judges. That won't matter in the free. If they land their jumps, they'll win.The FS judging panel may not be favorable for Phan and Torgashev --- the USA and CAN judges are off the panel and it's now 7 Euros + JPN + KOR
