The traditional Russian-North American-Japanese podium again, I think.

Jeez Louise what a great men's competition this week has been! So much clean/near-clean skating, great job all men!

Mark looks a little nervous.
3 Axel, nice.
3 Lutz
3 Axel, 3 turns, waits, manages a 2 Toe.
3 Flip-Eu- 3 Sal
3 Loop, hand down, 2 Toe
Nice 3 Flip
2 Axel.

Pretty impressive skate for Mark, but it's not going to be enough to stay on the podium.

Another cleanish skate from Mark! A solid final group.

I'm not sure Mark will get on the podium.

Mark was my pick for most-likely-to-disintegrate in the final flight, and he didn’t. Not perfect by any means, but good work.

This was a great competition, with a whole lot of strong and/or clean skates. I'm happy that I stayed awake to see Younghyun's SB and all this great skating.

Oh, Conrad, missed the podium by 0.01.

All three of the podium finishers should make the final, I expect.

The scores were so close! Congrats Petr, really well-deserved

I am feeling a little bit sad for Artur, I would have liked for him to earn a better spot and still have hopes for a final, but I'm sure he will be back for the Junior Worlds in a better shape :agree:

Shimada’s silver and bronze will very likely be enough as well, though he’s behind Torgashev in the queue.

All right, my mathematically-inclined friends, it's time for y'all to start figuring out exactly who has qualified and every possible scenario next week that would theoretically lead to the skaters who are on the bubble to qualify.

Annnnnd.....GO! :cheer2:

It's 4 am here, and I cannot do math for the life of me to figure out who else other than the confirmed three is going to the final. Thank you all for keeping me company, see you tomorrow.

Still to come
Andrei MOZALEV, RUS, 15, 217.12
Adam Siao Him Fa FRA, 11 199.14
Yuto Kishina, JPN, 11 191.80
Yuma Kagiyama, JPN, 9, 194.73
Artur Danielian, RUS, 7, 210.49 (Not sure if he's going?)

Crazy how high caliber this competition this was. Artur would have medaled pretty much elsewhere.

So basically, Andrei Mozalev should be in (you never know with the men of course, but even a 4th will move him ahead of Koshiro. Since Koshiro was third here, if either Adam or Yuto get 2nd in Armenia it would come down to a tiebreak. If either won, they'd be in instead of him. Yuma would need to win to be in.
