This was a rather sad and happy event as Fernandez ended his competitive career at the 2019 Europeans, but wonderfully with his 7th consecutive title... His career made a full circle as it started in major competitions at 2007 Europeans. Who would have thought in 2007 how much he will achieve during these years as he did not qualify then!

I was also very glad for Rizzo´s surprise bronze medal, WOW!

I thought that Samarin´s jumping did not please the eye, although he did not fall.

Good for you Javier Fernandez. But honestly, not a good event.

Bad event. I liked Javier, though. Good for him, and a wonderful send off. Not as emotional as Patrick Chen's, but still. Very nice.

I didn't like Matteo, sorry; watching him is like watching the paint dry (for me).

Also, I was LOLing at the sour expression of the silver medalist - it's hilarious that the guy doesn't realize just how bad he actually is. (There's nothing in between jumps, no SS, nothing. JMHO.) (And the judges, apparently, don't get it either - otherwise, how could he get only a point lower than Javi? ROTFLMAO)
