Why is the schedule the way it is?

The ladies don't have a day between and the weird groups with the pairs and mens??
Actually there isn't a day off between for anyone?

Yeah i don't get that either. The Pairs are the only ones to get a day off before
the LP? How did they get so lucky? And why would you not have the Ladies LP on a Saturday night like it always used to be? It's the main event of Nationals.

Like b-man and the rest, I am mystified, unless there are network broadcast issues afoot.....

That's probably part of it.
But it's probably also related to simple cost cutting. USFSA explicitly said they want to cut costs for Nationals.

Maybe, but now that I look at the NBC broadcast schedule, I gotta go with my theory. They are gonna put out 10 1/2 hours of Euro and Nats coverage this weekend and fit it in between all the basketball, foot ball, hockey, motocross, twittlewinks coverage. My DVRs are gonna glow red with work! Wanna see events live on NBCSPORTSGOLD and then watch at my leasure the Tara and Johnny show sans commericals.

I was checking to see what time the Ladies Free would be shown tonight, and xfinity is telling me that this evening Live Alina Zagitova, Evgenia Medvedeva, Kaetlyn Osmond, Wakaba Higuchi and Mai Mihara compete in the Ladies Free Skate at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Hmmm I thought this was slated to start 7:35. I'm looking at the Chinse stream and only dance and the scoring page is dormant.
