Have I missed something, or are they really not putting the total scores together?

I think that's how it works because each skater/pair/couple can get up to 12 points for each segment.

The scores matter for SB but not in the competition itself.

Nathan tempted the 3A gods with that second 3A. They'll only give him one clean one a program. :dev2:

i've never seen the umlaut on his surname, i guess both forms exist, it could be a variation or an adaptation of the german-italian form since we don't have the ae sound in our official language (it still exists in some dialects)

Thanks. I was just curious if it was a case of the ISU removing accents for the Bios. But, if you haven't seen it either, and you're in his country, then I would say that it isn't supposed to be there.

:thank:

I didn't know if he'd pull it off but Nathan completed the perfect season. What a year for him! I think he showed that he doesn't need all the fireworks to wow you anymore. He can bring the overall performance.

First bad 3A for Nathan this season. Oh well... at least he got a clean 4S before the end of the season.

He was also really sick earlier this morning and then added in the 4S back from the dead. Raf will be pleased wherever he is.

I don’t know... it may not be a ISU competition, but he still lost at Japan Open. Plus he didn’t do any challenger series. I think it was a near perfect season, which is amazing considering the Yale situation.

So there is no overall winner or? Just one medal for SP and one for FS, no big medal/overall winner?

No, the medals go to the team :) so the highest combined score of the two men, two women, one pair and one couple win. It's like the Team competition at the Olympics (although I think World Team Trophy came first).
