CAN WE PLEASE KEEP OKAJIMA AWAY FROM HIS SKATERS BEFORE THEY GO ON THE ICE?!
Let Noriko-sensei send them out

Sumiyoshi was disastrous. That was the worst she skated all year. I don’t think we’ll be seeing her free skate, which is a shame. I like both her programs quite a bit. These girls are crumbling under the pressure big time.
ofc she got a Q

Ahhh Rino 😭
She seems to still be struggling, is she not fully recovered yet? I really really hope it's not another illness or injury...

One thing I'm glad though, is the fact that she moved her combo to the 1st half. We know you can do it baby, just not when you're unhealthy ok. Please please recover stronger Rino

Hm. There were lots of nice moments here, but this event wasn't what it could have been. 😐

Hoping for the free skate. (y)

Matsuike probably hasn’t recovered from whatever ails her. She still hasn’t had that international breakout moment since her domestic success a few years ago.

My girl Mai lived, i don't care about the score.

I thought that Rino would be healthy enough to skate cleanly. May the universe let her breathe next season, this girl can't catch a break since juniors.

Blood bath? Pfft, I’m wondering why I stayed up for this. Overall this was not a good event. To me, the best performance was Chiba all the way from the second group, but I understand why she isn’t in first. Sakamoto shouldn’t be, though. Her program will be much better if someone else was skating to it. I would have Mihara in first place. The juniors-juniors did as I expected and outshined most of the field here. Making the podium and making the World’s team are still two different things. The third World’s spot is very much up for grabs.

I had to attend to something after Mai. Sounds like I was spared a splatfest. Fingers crossed for the FS.
