Katya did pretty well except for the doubled toe in the combo. Her skating was secure until the last combo. After it she was smiling. One of my favourite free skates this season when clean. By the way, if I understood the commentators correctly during the RPG, it was choreographed by Natalia Bestemianova.

So good to see Levs 3A working again and im glad he avoided the rep by landing his 2nd 4lz comfortably into the 2nd place!

Congrats on landing what I think was a fully rotated 4S to Milana!

A really nice 4T-2A from Arina sadly followed by a popped 4A that she thankfully popped into a 3S and then a 4T attempt that turned into a a 3T<< fall

Honestly im so conflicted about what to think about Arinas situation, on one hand when she lands it her 4T is marvelous but its not stable and the lack of 3lz and harder combos is difficult to ignore I think training the 4T rn is ok not ideal considering the lack of 3lz but ok considering the quality of the jump but what makes the situation crazy is the fact that she is training a 4S and 3A as well.

Lenas 4S consistency has improved so much during the last 2 months
a 3a attempt as well sadly not very successful

I think Cska still will win this based on the result of the younger age categories

Amazing skate from Margo to take the gold here! Lena and her once more showed their insane level

Shout out to little Liza who grabbed the bronze with no ultra c! She too is very talented and has been so so consistent this season

I honestly dont know how many others here watched the school battle stages and the final but it has been one of the highlight events of the season for me. The production value is insane and the talent pool is crazy good as well even in the very young contestants I hope we get another one next season, it was so much fun!

I watched from the demonstration performances. It is crazy how good Margarita is. Just another local event in Russia.

I didn't have a chance, but my mom watched it and really loved it, particularly how posh it was for the younglings with announcements and Grishin as a commentator, the full on star treatment. She said it looked like some kids really enjoyed it.

2023/24 Russian Grand Prix cities:
Ufa, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Samara, Moscow

Looks better than last year. The stage in Sochi was definitely a mistake. I've seen videos of Team Tut show in Omsk, the new arena looked great. Can't say anything about Ufa, though.

As for the battle of schools. I loved the idea & production. But I didn't like the fact that all the advertising was based only on the exhibitions of the guests. It was difficult to find any information about the competition itself.

After the final, Nina Mozer expressed a desire to hold such unusual competitions for older skaters.

Honestly this was the biggest downside of the competition, its so difficult to track down any info and the result page. Also the point system was never explained.It would also be nice if they remembered to broadcast the victory ceremony every time instead of in some stages only especially when they spent loads of money on it as well.

I couldn't watch anything as I had a lot of unpleasant other things on, but I can catch some performances to rewatch. Sounds great!
