Nella won the free  but missed a medal by 0,3 points.
Yes there scores were really tight as well for a lot of skaters. Wow, what a messy event 😅

Congratz to Nella.

How does the battle for Euros spots look now with the scores? I know there is still a lot of competitions yet, but would be interesting to see the standings so far, particular since Emmi bet Janna here.

Does domestic competition count as well?

Janna and Emmi are the only ones who have two competitions. Next weekend will be qualification for nats part 1 and that will be count too. So it is an important competition too. Only one national competitions (qualifications for nats or nats) will be count, the other one must be international. I put a link to Nordic thread after first qualification to the list.

Just seen the results. Poor Nella!

But she beat some heavy hitters in the free skate. That's a lot to proud of.

Does this mean that have to count in the National competition score as one of the results for selection, or does it only mean they are only allowed to count in one National score for selection?

What I mean is, if you do badly in national competitions, but you have done well at international competition, can the two best international competitions count for selection, or does it have to be one score from national and one from international?

Real winner of the day: Shin Amano

His views of figure skating are probably not that high with all that red …

At least the coaches know what they have to work on…. On a lot of elements.
I actually would like to see Shin be the tech for men. It seems every time its on women's that he is the tech specialist.

Yes, if a skater has two good international comps but messes up in nats, she/he can still get a spot. For example years ago Viveca was 4th at nats but had the best score, got the spot and also did well. On that time they counted only one score but added about three years ago that there must be at least one international competition too. To Euros they CS and GPs are stressed.
