Well done to the Aussie boy. The more international B comps there are in the Asia Pacific area the better these kids will get.

Thank you for you kind words. This is why his coach and I chose this competition it has the benefit of being close to home but with fantastic skaters to compete against to gain experience and to know what he has to do to improve himself and be competitive.

From @Sanhocho:

Rika Hongo 57.91

KyuEun Kim (not sure if I read the Korean name right) 55.20

Is there a link to live results

Sadly, no. It's disappointing that in this day and age the organizers didn't bother to set up a live results page, or at least designated somebody to Tweet the results/protocols. :(

Yeap...and Taiwan keeps winning the rights to host major competitions.

To be fair, I have friends who attended events in Taiwan and they had no complaints - plus, the tickets were usually either cheap or free. However, I wish the organizers would think of the fans from around the world who follow the event online. Tweeting the results or posting them on the event webpage would be a comparatively easy task compared to hosting the entire event. ^^'

My friends were there two days ago. And they said apart from skaters' team very few people attends. Cheap or free doesn't mean good as far as promoting the sport goes apparently.

Sadly, it seems that promoting FS events is poor in every country (except maybe Japan and Korea). (I admit "cheap" means a lot to me - the last time there was a big event in my country, the cheapest tickets for the entire event cost more than my monthly salary - and that's without accomodation! :( It would have been literally cheaper for me to travel to an event held in another country, an a luxurious tourist location, than to attent an event held locally :bang: ).
