since now just 4 skaters did (brezina, fentz, tsurskaya and a russian junior) and one wasn't actually doing any character

Do we really need the Rains of Castamere on Ice, though? I'd be worried about somebody accidentally opening an artery on their own blade. The Red Wedding come to life!

we might not need The Rains of Castamere (even if i like it, and it could be a great sp maybe combined with A Lannister always pays his debts), but there are litterally tons of songs that can be used. you don't have to be a lannister, but you could be a Khaleesi just skate on one of many Daenerys's themes, or a Stark (if you are not afraid of losing your head )

Since Alina is the new warhorse queen and I doubt it’ll change next season, I want to see her skating to Scheherazade. :scard8:

Daniil actually said today in his interview he is sick and tired of hearing that he uses solemnly warhorses. So he is gonna spice it up with something rarely used this season for his skaters.

I know that Disney is usually considered immature and cheesy, but I think someone could really do a beautiful and touching piece to the UP soundtrack, maybe even a junior if its too childish for a senior.

Why? Turandot is beautiful [emoji7] but I don’t think any warhorses will happen next season because yes, Daniil said in his recent interview that he’s sick of people criticising him about warhorses so he’ll do something completely different

I think H/D could do a lot with some Paolo Nutini - particularly songs from Caustic Love, I can imagine they'd move well to Iron Sky or One Day.

Also - I'd also really like to see Smart/Diaz do something with Barefoot In The Park by James Blake and Rosalía (but not sure if it would work in competition?) partly because I really like it and also partly because I like that it's a collaboration between a British artist and a Spanish artist, much like their team!

bollywood would be a great choice for zagitova, as bolero for miyahara (it's been a while since we got the chance to watch a good bolero program, someone with miyahara's artistry could give it justice)

No no no more LaLaLand please! If she must skate to a film soundtrack, how about something less overused like the Goodbye Lenin soundtrack. Same composer as Amelie but less common in skating.

Some part of the Goodbye Lenin soundtrack is very similar to Amelie. I still remember when I was watching Goodbye Lenin in the theater years ago, I had this deja vu feeling that I must have heard this music before and I figured out later. I love this composer and I like whimsical, so please.

I'd love to see Keegan Messing use the theme from the movie "1941" for his LP... it's power, it's humorous, it's fast. All things I associate with Keegan. While he wouldn't need a character, per say, it would still be enough in his wheel house that he would feel comfortable.

I would like to see somebody dynamic enough like Alena Kostornaia or Alena Kanysheva to use cut from Lindsey Stirling - Take flight. Also Rainbow from Liz Huett would be great music, but it would need to be a bit longer.

I don't have any music in particular so to speak, however here's my sincere wish, hope, entreaties to our skating gods :

-Liza Tuk x classical music FOR ONCE. Would be very nice if it's a quiet, soothing piano piece a-la-Chopin. Same goes for Laurine Lucavelier.

-Shoma x ANY other choreographer. Not saying at all Ms Higuchi is not good enough for him of cource, but I desperately want to see competitive programs by world's top-tier choreographers. :yes:

-Russian boys x much better choreo'd programs.
