Thank you Sam and golden. I'll check it out if it isn't geoblocked.

Should have added earlier:

(1) Last year, in addition to offering live streaming, the ISU JGP channel was extremely quick to post archived video of all the individual programs. (Very fast turnaround -- almost in real time.) It was the best of both worlds :). IF all is the same this year, it means that if you miss the live streaming, you would be able to either watch archived video of an entire segment to see how the comp unfolded -- or pick and choose just the videos of individual programs that interest you.

(2) Last year, none of the ISU JGP streaming was geoblocked in the U.S.
[This year, some concern has arisen over the (unconfirmed) possibility of ISU geoblocking of JGP Colorado Springs. The reason for the concern is that IN's paid subscriptions will include live streaming of just that one U.S. JGP. (If I am not mistaken, IN usually does not have any live streaming of JGPs.)]

If I remember correctly though - the individual videos were often poorly edited so that you generally didn't see the skater's score at the end, and occasionally the start of a performance would be missing... Best to catch the live stream if you can...

The good news is that as mentioned above, last year the ISU archived JGP video in two ways:
(1) As entire segments [e.g., the entire Men's SP all in one very long archived video]
AND
(2) As individually archived programs.

Anyone who misses the live streaming can choose Option (1) to avoid :) the problems you remember with individual programs.

Looking ahead to not only JGP Bratislava but the rest of the series as well, I've put together a ladies preview of five girls expected to do well: https://salchowsandswarovskis.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/2015-16-junior-grand-prix-preview-ladies/

And the ice dance preview: https://salchowsandswarovskis.wordpress.com/2015/08/18/2015-16-junior-grand-prix-preview-ice-dance/

You missed Tsurskaya. I think she has a pretty good chance to be stronger than Sotskova, and if Sakhanovich gets inconsistent, Tsurskaya will beat her too. Tsurskaya is another girl from Tutberidze, and she is very good and pretty consistent.

Hmm...I've actually never watched her! I'll have to look into that :)

Brianna aged out of junior. They moved to senior

Yikes...I will definitely take them out! Thanks for the update!

EDIT: https://salchowsandswarovskis.wordpress.com/2015/08/18/2015-16-junior-grand-prix-preview-ice-dance/

This is the new one. I took out Delmaestro/Lum as they moved up and replaced them with Loboda/Drozd.

You definitely should! She's absolutely fantastic, and she is likely to be Vivian's rival at this first JGP event (or, better, Vivian will be her rival ). (Copying your style) Things to watch are: consistency+monstrous 3Lz+3T combos!!

Yes, she even managed to beat Medvedeva once last season.

Wow  that's huge! I really hope I get to watch that...unfortunately, 4 AM on a Thursday is simply too early, so live is out of the question. But it sounds like they should be in the last group, so maybe I can see her.

BUUUT Polina had the advantage due to Zhenya being tired and having recently competed in JW a week or two before (or even days maybe). Still, Polina is a formidable opponent to all.

IIRC and if they didn't change the rules, the skating order of the SP in JGP events is totally random, so top-level skaters could be assigned to the first groups just as anyone else. Last year for example Medvedeva (despite being WJ bronze medalist) skated as 2nd or 3rd in her first event (delivering a clean and spectacular performance!)

Here is my preview for ladies of this competition.

Main competitors are

Tsurskaya from Russia
Vivian Le from US
Rin Nitaya from Japan
Mai Mihara from Japan
So Hyan An from Korea

Tsurskaya, Tsurskaya, Tsurskaya
No doubt, this is her competition to lose!
She is probably the biggest new comer from Russia since Radionova.
Just look at this video, she is already looking like a ice goddess.

https://youtu.be/RO072ZrQXHM

Most likely she is going to be one of the finalists.

Then, Vivian Le
US fans are hyping her so much right now
because she did very well @domestic competitions recently.

https://youtu.be/0YNUJyjYQPI

Wow, the height of her 3lutz is more than impressive,
and obviously she is not just a jumping bean.
However, her performance @the last Nationals was very underwhelming.
So she has to prove that she is the consistent competitor in front of the international judges.
Otherwise she is going to be like last year's Amber.

Rin Nitaya did well @last year's JGP circuit, respectably finished 2nd and 4th.
Though last year she had some consistency issue with her jumps,
this year she seems to skate with more confidence, and did very well @local competition recently.

https://youtu.be/ILDHNAIhLxc

Mai Mihara shares her coach with Sakamoto who had good performances @the last Junior Worlds,
but she does not have big jumps like Sakamoto's and her expression was kind of flat.
However, recently she won over Sakamoto @Asian Open.
So maybe this is her time to shine.

Japan is sending the strongest team for years,
and last year they sent three girls to the final.
So watch out how well they will do this year.

So Hyun An was third @recent test skate in Korea, behind Dabin Choi & Na Hyun Kim,
and unlike Dabin she is much more enjoyable to watch.
However, judging with videos, some of her jumps seems to be under-rotated.
It would be interesting how they are tested under the international judges.

Sorry but I do not know anything about the second girl from Russia.

If you know any other girls from this competition, who are good as them or better,
please copy & paste the links to the videos on this thread.
I would love to watch them before the competition!

Sorry, but it seams to me on your first video not Polina Tsurskaya. It is Valeriya Mihailova.
