Yep. First practice starts in 4 hours. I will look out for YouTube streams!

Hmmm I must've mixed sth because I thought it would be sth like at almost midnight-1am for me, but with this new info it looks like 9-10pm. Now have to go check the time difference again.

Thanks @Lunalovesskating for mentioning that the practice starts in 4h. I certainly somehow got it wrong lol. Maybe I opened last year's schedule. :laugh2:
I somehow got it right that I'd be able to watch both the SP and FS live and at what time, but somehow got the first practice today wrong even though it's starting at the "same" hour as the SP lol. :laugh2:

The former Finnish figure skater Kiira Korpi, who won silver and two bronzes at the European Championships, talked about Zhenya in an interview:

"I ask myself: 'And how do we measure success in the 21st century?' I look at Medvedeva’s career as an incredible success. Now it is even more successful than in Russia. She is freer, she can do figure skating for many more years. She inspires & touches the audience with her bold decisions. And the decision to leave was definitely not easy. Success is measured not only by the color of your medal. Every athlete is such a story! And it makes the sport charming."

If anyone find a youtube or other stream, please share. The official one (both the website and dailymotion) give me an error even despite VPN. Maybe it's because there's nothing yet, but still.

Really off topic, but it's really strange listening to Ted talking so much, and especially through the programs.

Clean SP run through. Her jumps look very smooth and her skating has a new fluidity to it.

Her SP is exquisite.

Ted sounded like he was having some sort of out of body experience  but agree with him! That was great.

Great practice RT for her. It looked effortless.

Did she dye her hair back to brown? It looked darker to me; I'm colorblind so I couldn't really tell.

Nice of Yevgeniya to applaud her strongest competitor in practice just now for landing the 3Lz combo. Acknowledging your opponents is a sign of good manners and always appreciated.
