Sr. ladies: 10 (incl. 2 exempted entries from Yuna Shiraiiwa and Marin Honda, so top 8 qualified; Mai Mihara and Satoko Miyahara are both seeded skaters)
Jr. men: 13 (Mitsuki Sumoto in the entry is seeded skater (National Jr 3), so top 14 qualified)
Jr. ladies: 13 (incl. one exempted entry from Rika Kihira, so top 12 qualified)

NB: Although Kaori Sakamoto, Yuna Shiraiiwa and Marin Honda were top 3 at Jr National last season, but since all 3 turn senior this season, they can't be waived from local competitions. Yuna and Marin are exempted due to competitions at Finlandia Trophy and JO, but Kaori remains in the entry list to Kinki regionals.

Currently underway: Kaori Sakamoto is in lead for Sr. ladies, with a score of 68.84. The layout reported in twitter is as follows:
