I loved Shizuka Arakawa's reaction when she realized that she won the Olympics in 2006! :hap10:

This one (Jamie Silverstein and Ryan O'Meara at 2006 US Nationals) is different because they were holding hands waiting for the scores, so they jumped up and down together instead of separately. They both put one arm in the air with the other arm around their partner and Jamie screamed. They found out they finished third and were going to the Olympics. Jamie had fought back from an eating disorder. I remember being so happy for them.

Shen and Zhao 2004 Worlds LP - They were in 4th after the SP and couldn't win the title, but they turned in one of the most thrilling performances of their career and were so thrilled to get all those 6.0s (2 for technical merit and 10 for presentation). They never sat down to wait for the marks. To see them so excited with their 6.0s was priceless. I think this is the only time Shen jumped up and down. At the 2010 Olympics, she screamed and pumped her fists.

Narumi Takahashi completely losing it is the best thing I've seen all day. Bless her.

Adorable! Some people on here like to make a lot of snide, mean-spirited comments about Narumi not being as good as she once was, but whatevs -- she will always have her World bronze and the haters have nothing. ;)

- Tara Lipinski screaming with joy in Nagano, Alina Zagitova just calmly smiling, and for added fun, the two reactions contrasted side-by-side.

Could contrast Richard’s reaction - loved it!! - with Eteri’s, too.

(I see potential for a non-sporting fan to produce a college cultural studies project with a working title along the lines of “back in the olden days, teenagers were WAY easier to please and display emotions in public” :p )

- Alexei Mishin & Carolina, pretty much every time they’re filmed, but especially when (think it was Euro’s SP last year?) he gives her that businesslike handshake, so adorable!!

It's interesting that the commentators say that their third place secured them a spot on the Olympic team. In the good/bad old days before "body of work" reared its head.

Ashley's jaw-drop reaction to her score at worlds in 2016 and subsequent elation when she realized she came in 2nd:

Mirai's silent "whoa!" reaction to her score in Vancouver was adorable. I also love when she realized she was 4th but the camera cut away so you didn't get the full reaction: https://youtu.be/Y3DgTHB0yvs?t=504

Someone already posted it but Julia's reaction to her score at Euros in 2014 was beyond adorable: https://youtu.be/XkZSzpKK2MI?t=453

Starr Andrews' reaction to her FS score this year was so cute: https://youtu.be/RvSThRAdVe8?t=643

Also loved Michelle's reaction to her 7 out of 9 perfect 6.0s at nationals in 2004: https://youtu.be/_J9Et5D1Nt8?t=522
