Roman started his first competition after his injury today at Ontario sectionals. His short is to Unconscious by Charlie Winston and his free is to Nureyev. He landed 3lz2t, 4s, and 2a in the sp today for a score of 82.62. It appears Roman only did the short program for Ontario sectionals. It's not unusual to only do one at the start of the season so it doesn't necessarily mean anything regarding his injury recovery.

Roman's first international competition this season will be Warsaw Cup this week

Sad news: Roman had to withdraw from Warsaw Cup because his luggage was lost.

I saw the withdrawal but not the reason. Thanks for the update! I was afraid it was because of a last-minute injury or aggravation of preexisting injury.

Technically speaking, he didn't lose his luggage. The baggage handlers did it for him. Pearson airport seems to have been having a lot of baggage problems since COVID.

Pearson airport always had major issues with luggage. Happened to me way before Covid Happened to many people I know I try to boycott Toronto when traveling. I'd rather fly to Calgary for a layover than Toronto.
